It was bread making this week on Great British Bake Off and they did flat bread, a plaited loaf and bagels.
We had Italian last night so I decided to make an Italian flat bread or Piadina to go with it.
The recipe was really simple to follow but instead of making a bread like dough, it was more like a pastry. When they were cooked they were lovely, although probably could have done with a bit more salt in the basic mix and maybe next time I’d add some extra flavours into the dough itself. It’s a great recipe though because you could stick whatever you wanted to on top and mix up the flavours!
