Savoury Cake – sun-dried tomato, brie and pistachios.

On Little Paris Kitchen – Cooking with Rachel Khoo this week, she made a traditional French, savoury cake, which apparently, they all love!

Rachel’s version used goats cheese and prunes but I swapped them for brie and sun-dried tomatoes.

It was easy enough to make and would probably be great with any flavour combination but I recommend using a really strong cheese as my brie was just a bit plain.

It smelled so good coming out of the oven and looked really impressive. Mum and I had a couple of slices each for lunch and, although it was really yummy, we got a bit bored of it.

I think it would be awesome as part of a picnic with lots of cold meats and salad bits.
